SimpleVanPlanner is a free tool for creating and sharing van layout designs. It does not require user accounts or registration.
2. What data we store
We store the following data when you use the tool:
- Your design layout data
- Any annotations or notes you choose to add
- A randomly generated unique code used to retrieve and share your design
This data is stored using Google Firestore and may also be stored locally in your browser using local storage.
3. Personal data
This tool is not intended to collect personal data.
You should not enter:
- Names
- Addresses
- Contact details
- Any sensitive or personal information
If you choose to enter personal data, you do so at your own risk.
4. How your data is used
Your data is used solely to:
- Save your design
- Allow you, or others with the code, to access and edit it
We do not sell, analyse, or share your data with third parties.
5. Data access and sharing
Anyone with your unique design code can access your design.
You are responsible for keeping this code private if required.
6. Deletion of data
You can delete your design at any time using the delete function within the tool.
If you are unable to delete your data, you can request removal by contacting: mark@simplevanplanner.co.uk
7. Data retention
We may delete designs that have not been accessed for an extended period of time.
8. Liability and usage
This tool is provided "as is" without any guarantees of availability, accuracy, or fitness for purpose.
You are solely responsible for:
- The content you enter
- How you use and share your design codes
We accept no liability for:
- Loss of data
- Unauthorised access via shared codes
- Any content entered by users
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the tool constitutes acceptance of any updates.
